I still have so much to learn about being a mom and I’m still learning every single day. But I’m so excited to dive into all things motherhood and share my story on Megan’s podcast, The Art of Motherhood. 🎙️💗

Side note: My goal for this 10K was to finish in under an hour, and thanks to a stranger I met around mile 2 named Mike, I did it! He paced me and talked me through every single mile after that, keeping me right where I needed to be to hit my goal. He dropped back about two miles before the finish, but not before making sure I knew exactly what pace to hold to cross that line on time. Thanks, Mike! Whoever you are, you were an absolute angel today! 🫶

13.1 baby!!!!! Full disclosure: This was a really hard course.

I THOUGHT the beach part was going to be hard….. Turns out that was the EASY part. I would’ve given anything to have had this ENTIRE race on the beach because it turns out the rest of it was on dry sand, at least 6 miles uphill, uneven sand trails, and man….. This was REALLY. FLIPPIN. HARD….

I had to fight a lot of demons in my mind that wanted to stop after about mile 10 when I started falling behind the pacers, and realized I wasn’t going to make my goal time. But we did it! The whole way! Non stop! 🏃‍♀️🔔🏖 Thank you @hiltonheadrunningcompany for amazing race!!!
